Privacy Policy for Naima prayers Time

Naima does not collect any data. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, no crash reporting and no tracking of any kind. Nothing you do in the app is sent anywhere, because the app cannot send anything anywhere. Last updated: 4 September 2026 Why we can make that claim plainly Naima does not request the INTERNET permission. An Android app without that permission is blocked by the operating system from making any network connection at all. This is not a policy we promise to follow — it is a capability the app does not have. You can verify it yourself: on the Google Play listing, open App info and review the permissions Naima requests. Information stored on your device Naima saves the following locally, so that it works and remembers your preferences: Your chosen location or city, used to calculate prayer times and the Qibla direction. Your settings: calculation method, madhab, adhan choice, language, theme and reminders. Your activity within the app: prayer log, qada ledger, tasbih counts, Quran bookmarks and last-read position, and saved hadith. All of it stays in the app's private storage on your phone. We never see it. Uninstalling Naima deletes it permanently, and because it is never uploaded there is no copy for us to delete on your behalf. Location If you allow location access, your coordinates are used on the device to compute prayer times and the Qibla bearing, and are stored on the device so the app works when you next open it. They are never transmitted. You can decline the permission entirely and pick a city from a list bundled inside the app instead — the search works with no connection. Permissions and what they are for Notifications — to show the adhan notification and its Stop button. Exact alarms — to sound the adhan at the correct minute. Foreground service (media playback) — to play the adhan reliably. Location (approximate and precise) — optional; see above. Run at startup, wake lock, vibrate, ignore battery optimisation — so a prayer is not missed while the phone is idle or after a restart. Children Naima is suitable for all ages. Because it collects nothing, it collects nothing from children either. Third parties Naima contains no advertising SDKs and no analytics SDKs. It uses Google Play services components for optional device location. Tapping “Rate Naima” opens the Google Play Store app, at which point Google's own privacy policy applies to your use of the Play Store. Changes If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new date above. If a future version of Naima were ever to collect anything, that would be stated here plainly and before the change shipped.
